Another Remix
And this time, for The Sheriff to be remixed. Yeah! Sheriff Saïtam
had

assisted by Max Cadoret (bass player for Tralala), in Rennes. Result is

Sonic Experience
After
the electro remix, Callahan’s Bullitt tried a new sonic experience
introducing other musicians in the trio. Yet, invited by the Jardin
Moderne to the five-year anniversary evening, the band played on stage
with other invited musicians. Were to be seen along with the band, one
after the other: Gérôme Lul on trumpet, Olivier Mellano on
banjo, Léo on
organ and musical saw, Michel on bass and finally Cédric on electrical
guitar.

The track The Ballad of Tuco has been remixed by Barry

Radio Braodcast
“Wanted” has been well-followed by various independent
FM radios and particularly by those of the Férarock network. The
EP thus got into playlists for several weeks, from Rennes to Montpellier,
and also more surprisingly in Ontario, Canada (CHUO FM, Ottawa).

Residence
Rennes venue l’Antipode invited Callahan’s Bullitt in residence,
thus organizing a run through for the band on 03/02/04. In short, the
band rehearsed in the live show conditions: engineers, lights, etc. The
week ended with the Starting Block V concert on Friday evening.

News column
At least the webmaster has found how to update the news page in the site.
Soon, information of highly importance galore. It has taken him two months
to learn how to change the texts only once instead of doing it for each
page as he had been doing before. He is making progress. But can do a
lot better.

Live-o-Matic
Tour
Homer Callahan and Joe Bullitt played live in the Rennes launderettes
in September 2003. The two guitar-players manoeuvred between barrels of
powders and a rather astonished public, since not informed.

News tracks?
The band recorded in early August 2003 a new series of tracks under the
leadership of Vince Goldfinger. Originally, four tracks were to be recorded:
Bounty Killer, Pale Moon Rider, La Diligencia and Swindler Blues. The
session took place in Rennes the 4th August 2003. Yet, the band decided
to record one instrument after the other, rather than live. The result
being pretty disappointing, everything had been erased. Next recording
session will be live, as it had been for the CD Wanted.

Video
A video shot at the Mondo Bizarro, Rennes, in April 2003 will soon be
available on the site. It will be an excerpt of the Callahan’s Bullitt
live there supporting Calla. The movie was shot by Alexandre Bertin. Compression
for internet is in progress.
